When I was a kid she would wash all the hardwood floors once a week and the house would fill with the scent of 'clean'. Afterward she would make us a snack of mincemeat turnovers or brown sugar sandwiches. Oh, those were the days.

Lemon Fresh
It's amazing how the tiniest sniff of something can immediately bring you back to your childhood. I just caught a whiff of the cleaning lady's steamy hot, lemony mop bucket and I immediately thought of Grammie.
When I was a kid she would wash all the hardwood floors once a week and the house would fill with the scent of 'clean'. Afterward she would make us a snack of mincemeat turnovers or brown sugar sandwiches. Oh, those were the days.
